A CURSE IT WAS ~ayesha
With a broken heart ,
No eyes, no ears
No voice to speak
But full of fear
I ask this world
Why only boy and no girl
If we are born, are situations worse?
Why when born, are we understood as a curse,
When sons are there, they are meant to be smart
But don't you think of our heavy heart
No one cares for the tears we shed
In fear, we never raised our head
People thought of us as illiterate
It was a stereotype people did create
The past was past, now it will vary
No problems will we carry
We'll go against our exploitation
We'll do this without any hesitation
We'll protest for our fundamental rights
We'll make them understand, we'll fight
Why do they need to be so rude
Cause our work is still devalued
We want to achieve equality
As we've proven of good qualities
We carry the pride of our society
We're not afraid, we're mighty!
